I recently found this picture of George Takei with my son Dane and me. We got to talk to him and his husband for a good 5-10 minutes before an event here in Pittsburgh. He’s a really nice guy who appreciates his fans and knows how to treat them well.

I just finished a short story based on a dream I had last night. Not my usual genre, but there’s no accounting for what the sleeping mind comes up with. Check it out: Grandma Buford’s Birthday.

This weekend, I’m spending Friday through Sunday at Pittsburgh’s Confluence Science Fiction Con. You can find me at my table in the Dealers’ room as well as taking in the rest of the convention. I hope to see you there.
